The Hospital in the Rock Museum is run by „The Rock” Museum Public Benefit Foundation. The Foundation was established in 2015 and its mission is to show that it is possible to behave as a human being in times of dictatorship and war, and to choose the good. The Foundation is independent of political parties, ideologies and churches, and and runs the Museum and its development without state support, from its own income and donations.

We kindly ask you to support the work of our partner, the Hősök Tere (Heroes' Square) Foundation, with your donation. Their mission is to help create a world where empathy, selflessness and compassion are not exceptions, but social norms. Through their training programmes, initiatives and discussions, they empower children, teachers, parents and adults to recognise when action is needed and to have the courage to make a difference in building a fairer and more inclusive society. While the Hospital in the Rock preserves the stories of the heroes of the past and shows what it meant to choose to do good even in the most difficult times, the Hősök Tere Foundation works to make this spirit a part of our everyday lives.
